Of Land and Sky

These paintings explore landscape as a relationship rather than a place—between land, light, and sky. Reduced and abstracted, the works center on the horizon as a threshold charged with atmosphere, memory, and quiet energy.

Light is central to these works, particularly where it gathers or fades along that meeting line. I’m interested in how painting can capture the tension between observation and memory, between what is seen and what is felt. These pieces are meditations on that space—both within and beyond sight.

Many of these exhibitions grow out of ongoing themes and studio projects explored elsewhere on the site.
